The Information Technology (IT) Internal Audit Director will serve as a member of the Genworth Corporate Audit Services (GCAS) Leadership TeamThis position will report administratively to Genworths Chief Audit Executive (CAE)Limited travel may be requiredWhat you will be doing
The IT Internal Audit Director will oversee the planning, execution and reporting of the Genworth IT Internal Audit program. Responsibilities include :
Conduct risk assessment activities to develop and maintain an independent, objective and risk-based IT Audit Plan including assurance and advisory engagementsBuild and lead a talented, engaged team of IT Internal AuditorsDirect the planning, execution and reporting of IT assurance and advisory engagementsEstablish best in class IT audit approaches and methodologiesEnsure timely, high-quality assurance and advisory engagement results and associated documentation that conforms with Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) StandardsPresent IT Internal Audit results to key stakeholders including Genworth Senior Leadership and the Board of DirectorsBuild and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, third-party suppliers and external auditorsMaintain current knowledge of technology and other matters that impact GenworthWhat you bring
Bachelors Degree in business, technology, accounting or another applicable field8 or more years of relevant work experience, preferably within the financial services industry - Other industries are acceptable, provided that the candidate possesses appropriate skills for the positionInternal and / or external IT audit or risk management experienceDemonstrated functional knowledge of risk assessments, internal controls and related technical skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to communicate with all levels of managementStrong critical thinking, project management and relationship management capabilitiesCertified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and / or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certifications are preferred - Will consider other certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), etc.Employee Benefits & Well-Being
