GEO Next Generation K-12 Academy - Indianapolis is a part of a network of high-quality charter schools managed by the GEO Foundation. It joins 21st Century Charter at Gary, Gary Middle College East and Gary Middle College West in delivering a high-quality learning experience to parents and students in Indiana. GEO Next Generation High School is a tuition-free, public charter school that will begin with 9th grade and add a grade each year over the subsequent three years. Our teachers cultivate critical thinking skills students need to understand how the world works around them. Our dedicated faculty are committed to providing an outstanding education for students each day as they transition from middle school to high school and COLLEGE. Through our partnership with the local community college, our students will be able to take dual credit courses with the opportunity to earn college credit at no cost to the student. REPORTS TO / TERM : Principal
This is a part time 10-month position
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED
- CDL license required
- 1 years' experience driving a school bus
- No at-fault traffic accidents in the last 5 years
- Clean driving record (no traffic citations in last 5 years)
- CPR Certified
- Have a valid DOE Issued Blue Card
- Ability to carry out assigned route on time
- Excellent communication skills
- 2 years' working with children preferred
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
