Job Summary
The Senior Product Manager (PM) will drive the strategic direction, roadmap, and execution of GeoComm’s products. As part of GeoComm’s Outcome-Focused and Product-Led Growth (PLG) organization, the PM will ensure product decisions are centered on delivering measurable customer value, fostering adoption, and driving business outcomes. They will own the full product lifecycle, working cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, sales, and UX/UI teams to develop high-impact solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives while optimizing user engagement and retention.
Essential Specific Job Duties
1. Product Strategy and Roadmap
- Develop and communicate a customer-driven product vision aligned with GeoComm’s growth and outcome-focused goals.
- Ensure product outcomes align with business objectives.
- Own the high-level product vision, strategy, and initiatives for assigned product line(s).
- Create and maintain a data-driven product roadmap prioritizing initiatives based on customer impact, revenue potential, market trends, and feedback, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Identify market opportunities and develop business cases for new features or products.
- Collaborate with the Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) team in support of SAFe portfolio framework to align initiatives with strategic themes and investment funding.
- Work with TPMs, UX/UI, software and solution architects, SME and POs to ensure market needs are met within technical feasibility.
2. Customer and Market Insights
- Conduct market strategy analysis, including customer interviews, market research, and competitive landscape studies, to inform decision-making.
- Develop high-level product-led growth (PLG) strategies, incorporating financial analysis and pricing scenarios aligned with outcome-based operating models.
- Define initiatives to maintain GeoComm’s market leadership.
- Develop and maintain buyer personas and customer journeys.
- Synthesize insights from sales, customer success, business development, and finance teams to identify unmet customer needs through data analytics.
3. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams
- Partner with engineering teams to define feature requirements, scope projects, manage backlogs, and ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with TPMs and SMEs to translate product goals into actionable technical features.
- Partner with POs to monitor sprint execution and validate progress against roadmap objectives.
- Work with UX/UI teams to design intuitive user workflows and interfaces.
- Collaborate internal stakeholders to define go-to-market (GTM) strategies, messaging, and positioning.
4. Product Lifecycle Management, Outcome Monitoring & Validation
- Lead or collaborate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives) as the primary voice of the customer.
- Oversee release planning and prepare stakeholders for product launches.
- Monitor product performance through KPIs and analytics, iterating features as necessary.
- Track feature adoption rates and measure outcomes to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
5. Thought Leadership and Communication
- Serve as the internal and external champion for your product, delivering presentations, webinars, and training sessions as needed.
- Represent GeoComm at conferences and customer events to strengthen brand presence.

Minimum Job Requirements
Education: |
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA or similar preferred) or commensurate industry experience |
Experience: |
? 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in GIS, AEC/O, 3D Modelling (BIM), existing building documentation technologies and processes, public safety, SaaS, or similar domains. ? Proven track record of defining and delivering successful products or features. ? Experience working with UX/UI teams to develop user-friendly workflows and interfaces. ? Demonstrated ability to develop go-to-market strategies, including messaging, positioning, and pricing models. ? Experience collaborating with sales, marketing, business development, customer success, and engineering to align product vision with business goals.

? Strong expertise in product strategy, roadmap development, and market-driven decision-making ? Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, including customer analytics, competitive analysis, and market research. ? Familiarity with BDD, PLG, Outcome-based operating models, Agile and SAFe or similar frameworks for product lifecycle management. ? Ability to write clear, concise initiatives, business cases, competitive and market analysis, epics, user stories, and develop and manage a product roadmap, business value, scoping/estimating, buyer personas, customer journeys, backlog prioritization and management. ? Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interface and influence cross-functional teams, stakeholders and customers at all levels. ? Strong business acumen with experience in outcome-based models and PLG strategies. |
