As an intern, you will receive comprehensive training and work closely with experienced engineering field staff to ensure compliance with technical specifications.

As an intern, you will receive comprehensive training and work closely with experienced engineering field staff to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Performing routine tests on soil, concrete, asphalt, and other materials at the construction site or in one of our state-of-the-art laboratories.
- Conducting thorough observations and documenting construction activities to guarantee adherence to technical standards.
- Interacting with contractors, clients, and GTA personnel to evaluate site conditions and participating in regular work progress meetings.
About You:
- College student pursuing a degree in civil engineering, geology, or a related field with a strong academic record.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and satisfactory driving record required.
- Steel-toe or composite-toe boots essential.
The internship may require standing for extended durations as well as repetitive motions such as lifting or hammering. You must be physically capable of lifting 60 pounds regularly; and occasionally move 80 pounds or more. Approximately 5-10 hours of overtime per week can be expected.
Compensation:
$15-$20 per hour
