Daily Responsibilities:
- Performing various tests on soil, concrete, asphalt, and other materials at the construction site or in one of our laboratories.
- Observing and documenting construction activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
- Collaborating with contractors, clients, and GTA personnel to evaluate site conditions and participating in work progress meetings.
About You:
- You are a college student pursuing a degree in civil engineering, geology, or a related field.
- You possess reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a satisfactory driving record.
- You have steel-toe or composite-toe boots for safety purposes.
The internship requires standing for extended durations and repetitive motions such as lifting or hammering. You must be physically capable of lifting 60 pounds regularly; and occasionally move 80 pounds or more. Approximately 5-10 hours of overtime per week can be expected.
Compensation:
$15-$20 per hour
