Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking a qualified Office Manager for our Somerset, New Jersey office. This position requires a confident, highly organized self-starter who is comfortable with technology and can manage a variety of responsibilities. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Effective management of day-to-day administrative operations.
- Assist with preparation of professional correspondence and reports.
- Collaborate with corporate accounting/marketing departments in Maryland (travel not required).
- Processing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Organize company and/or office events and meetings.
- Maintain and order office and field supplies.
- Coordinate office cleaning and maintenance with outside services.
- Answer multi-line phone calls, greet clients and visitors.
- Assist staff with expense reports.
- Maintain conference rooms, lobby, and kitchen areas.
- Oversee and coordinate company vehicle use.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a professional office setting.
- High School or College Graduate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Proficient with current office software and equipment including MS Word and Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, postage machine, printers, etc.
- Typing speed of 50 WPM.
- Dependable, consistent attendance is vital to this position.
