GTA was incorporated in 1985 and currently has 24 offices throughout the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast regions, serving residential, commercial, and industrial clients; public institutions; and local, state, and federal government agencies.
GTA is currently seeking a Construction Observation & Testing Project Manager (COT PM) for our Alliance, Ohio office. Candidates should have local experience in residential and commercial projects. A Bachelor's degree is a plus but not necessary if you have extensive, relevant and quality experience.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage daily project schedule and post technician assignments
- Coordinate Technician supervision and project quality control
- Negotiate scope of work and fee schedule for projects
- Assist in report and proposal preparation and marketing
- Check daily reports, time sheets and mileage sheets for accuracy
- Oversee maintenance of equipment and vehicles
Project Manager Experience/Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of Construction Observation & Testing (COT) experience
- Field/lab testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, structural steel
- Good driving record, valid driver's license and your own vehicle
- Materials Testing Certifications such as ACI, ICC, NCDOT, etc.
