Position Overview
We seek a qualified and motivated Technician to join our operations team at our R&D facility in Salisbury, North Carolina. This role is physically demanding and requires a strong ability to adapt, solve complex problems, and perform effectively in a dynamic environment. The Technician will play a vital role in maintaining and improving our facility and equipment, with responsibilities ranging from electrical work and plumbing to metal fabrication and machinery maintenance.

- Assist in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and processes.
- Support R&D activities by assembling, testing, and refining components.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery.
- Ensure the safe and efficient handling of materials.
- Work closely with the engineering team to maintain workflow and meet project goals.
- Uphold safety standards and follow company procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in processes and equipment.
- Perform general facility upkeep, to maintain a clean and organized workspace
Specific Skills/Abilities
- Perform electrical work, plumbing, welding, and metal fabrication.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment.
- Adapt to evolving tasks and solve unforeseen challenges efficiently.
Qualifications
- Experience in trades such as electrical, plumbing, welding, or construction.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks and remain on your feet throughout the day.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
- College Degree
- Electrical or welding certifications.
- Experience with wiring and programming Siemens PLC systems.
