Operations Technician

Geo4 Dynamics is deploying a revolutionary technology that up-cycles any waste stream through molecular recycling into usable products and assets such as heat, steam, and water. This approach is an environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative to traditional municipal solid waste (MSW) processing, such as landfilling and incineration.

Position Overview

We seek a qualified and motivated Technician to join our operations team at our R&D facility in Salisbury, North Carolina. This role is physically demanding and requires a strong ability to adapt, solve complex problems, and perform effectively in a dynamic environment. The Technician will play a vital role in maintaining and improving our facility and equipment, with responsibilities ranging from electrical work and plumbing to metal fabrication and machinery maintenance.

Role Description

•       Assist in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and processes.
•     Support R&D activities by assembling, testing, and refining components.
•     Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery.
•      Ensure the safe and efficient handling of materials.
•     Work closely with the engineering team to maintain workflow and meet project goals.
•     Uphold safety standards and follow company procedures.
•      Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in processes and equipment.
• Perform general facility upkeep, to maintain a clean and organized workspace

Specific Skills/Abilities

•         Perform electrical work, plumbing, welding, and metal fabrication.
•         Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment.
•         Adapt to evolving tasks and solve unforeseen challenges efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience in trades such as electrical, plumbing, welding, or construction.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks and remain on your feet throughout the day.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

• College Degree
• Electrical or welding certifications.
• Experience with wiring and programming Siemens PLC systems.
