Qualifications
- Scheduling of patient appointments to include consultations, physician visits, hospital follow ups.
- Working a recall list and contacting patients to schedule future appointments requested by providers.
- Maintains cleanliness of front desk and waiting room.
- Checks in and out appointed patients.
- Serves as a resource for staff by performing a variety of customer service and routine administrative tasks.
- Any and all other duties as assigned dependent upon department/practice needs
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 1 year of scheduling, screening, or customer service experience in a healthcare clinic preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively and work efficiently with people at all levels in an organization.
- Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
- High level of proficiency with PC based software programs.
- Manual dexterity and repetitive hand/wrist movements.
- Communication and converse in normal conversations with patients, vendors and other staff.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for frequent periods of time. Occasionally may move about.
