Survey Crew Chief
GEODECA Land Surveying Company has an opening for a Survey Crew Chief in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
We are looking for another member to our team.

Our projects include small commercial conveyances, large-scale land development projects and construction projects. Our clients vary and include, but are not limited to governmental, commercial, and industrial projects.
Job Description:
· Perform topographic, boundary, right of way surveys, also leveling and construction staking including prep.
· Perform typical land survey work including operating instruments, clearing brush, driving stakes, running levels, making notes and sketches, and maintaining equipment, trucks and survey room as needed.
· Utilize various surveying programs to gather, retrieve and interpret plans and data, and perform computations as required. Construction staking preparation is an essential task.
· Perform incidental clerical and custodial duties and aid in the upkeep of survey vehicles and survey tools.
· Should be able to work as independently or lead up to a 3-man crew.
Required Qualifications
· 2 to 20 years related survey field experience.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
· Operate motorized equipment, change a tire if needed.
· Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
· Strong mathematical skills; basic computer skills.
· Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities.
· Work effectively independently and in a team environment.
· Travel primarily within the state may be required but is unusual.
· Valid driver’s license
· Able to communicate after hours, must be able to share location during work hours.
· Able to work overtime as required.
Preferred Qualifications
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in Survey Technology or equivalent
· Experience with AutoCAD, Carlson and other drafting/surveying software
· Experience with Leica Total Stations, GPS and other surveying technologies including UAV.
· Able to perform research of deeds, corner records, N.G.S. Datasheets, G.L.O. Notes
