What are the responsibilities and job description for the Total Rewards Analyst position at GEODIS Logistics LLC?
Primary Duties:
- Advises and assists Business Partners with GEODIS pay plans, policies and processes
- Creates job descriptions and advises business partners on creation of position descriptions
- Analyzes duties of new or revised jobs to determine appropriate pay grade assignments and FLSA exemption statuses; updates and maintains job description software
- Updates compensation tables in payroll system
- May plan, implement, and administer hourly bonus processes including preparing data spreadsheets and calculations, coordinating with HR Business Partners, arranging payments for all eligible employees and providing payment reports to Accounting and executives
- Analyzes requested off-cycle pay adjustments relative to internal and external pay data; makes recommendations to ensure equity and conformance with established guidelines and policies
- Participates in market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet techniques to analyze results and market trends
- Performs ad hoc survey research to assess market competitiveness of specific positions; recommends pay position; calculates costs of proposed pay changes
- Other duties as required and assigned
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of related experience, preferably in Human Resources or Finance; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of compensation principles including use of market surveys and data analysis
- Knowledge of basic human resources laws and regulations including, but not limited to the Equal Pay Act, the Lilly Ledbetter Act, and FLSA regulations
- Prior experience working with HRIS systems
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel to include pivot tables, v-lookup and advanced formulas

- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with ability to analyze complex problems and devise viable solutions
- Excellent mathematical skills and ability to devise formulas which facilitate analysis of data
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals
