Your role on the team :
- Owns the country airfreight budget.
- Drives and Executes Airfreight strategy to drive business growth in close cooperation with BD partners.
- Develops and executes a local plan that mirrors the global, regional, and country strategic objectives.
- Develops relevant Airfreight Products and plans and executes new initiatives using global market outlook / information.
- Ensures an optimal GP as result of best possible procurement efforts and selling based on endto-end customer requirements.
- Communicates with internal and external stakeholders on deviation of country airfreight budget, volume budget, and market developments.
- 10 years of experience working in a global air forwarder and carrier network in a leadership position.
- Proven track record of managing air freight procurement.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PPT
- Carrier and Forwarder operations management experience
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- People management skills
- Ability to articulate concepts and processes.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to formulate creative solutions.
- Analytical and commercial mindset
- Ability to develop and improve tools by sharing active feedback.
- Ability to work in fast paced organization with a positive outlook.
