What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wireline Applications Engineer position at GEODynamics, Inc.?
GEODynmaics in Millsap, Tx is looking for qualified candidates for a Wireline Apps Engineer located in the Permian Basin area but must be able to travel to other areas of the US as needed.

Wireline products range from selective fire switches (mechanical and addressable), next generation Wireline Release Tools, Gamma Guns, Specialty Logging Devices, Shooting Panels etc. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Engineering Team and Product Line Manager(s) during the final development phase of new wireline products.
Candidate shall have the ability to carry new wireline products thru the evolution from engineering prototypes, commercial production, sales and marketing process. The candidate shall understand product operation and maintenance while having the ability to train internal staff and external clients in the product operation process.
KEY ACCOUNTIBILITIES
- AME / CA area customer support
- Increased travel to all major North American O&G basins.
- Scheduling of customer demos and onboarding with sales team
- Prototyping and development with engineering as required for testing or input
- Business development initiatives with sales. Providing technical field intel for market trends.
- Other items pertaining to manufacturing or gun loading to support customer enhancement
- Maintains expert level of product knowledge and application via phone and remote support applications.
- Articulates technology and product positioning to both business and technical users via remote support applications and phone.
- Works in conjunction with Engineering and Product Line Manager(s) to maximize sales procedures, flow efficiency, product enhancement and new product development.
- Listens, understands, and conveys customer requirements.
- Performs technical / product training for internal staff and external clients, acting as the liaison.
- Maintains accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence in company software / databases.
- Resolves customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives.
- Identifies customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future growth.
- Performs troubleshooting of tool, equipment, and overall wireline systems.
- Fosters and maintains customer relations by establishing a positive image and confidence in the quality of services and ensures the confidentiality of all logging and perforating operations.
- Proactively addresses complaints and resolving problems.
- Prepares and maintains monthly reports and presentations to track performance and update senior management on sales / service quality progress.
- Represents GEODynamics at industry related organizations and events
- Ensure compliance of all Federal, State, County, and Local regulations applicable to explosives operations
