GEODynamics in Millsap, TX is looking for qualified candidates for Buyer/Planner - Electrician Mechanic.

Key Accountabilities:
- Develops production schedule for assigned products; providing enough lead time to procure raw materials and manufacturing components to meet production sales demand and/or forecast requirements.
- Monitors plant adherences to schedules and facilitate actions to improve.
- Revise production schedule when required and communicate cross functionally when changes to initial schedule(s) are required.
- Reviews, analyzes and edits nonstandard orders against a defined set of input requirements. Identifies discrepancies and communicate with appropriate personnel to resolve discrepancies.
- Processes non-standard orders promptly and accurately to provide the next operation with requested set of output requirements.
- Creates, prints, and issues Purchase Orders and Manufacturing Work Orders in timely manner.
- Orders and scheduled deliveries of materials to be used in Production.
- Orders MRO supplies and materials for other departments, as required.
- Negotiates prices and identifies cost reduction opportunities.
- Performs transactions necessary to maintain accurate records and inventory balances.
- Establishes and maintains product inventory levels throughout the supply chain that are consistent with business unit goals while maintaining required customer service levels.
- Facilitates returns of non-conformance materials to suppliers.
- Identifies supply chain continuous improvement projects to reduce inventory, improve cycle times, identify tolling opportunities, etc. and lead teams to address opportunities.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills/Knowledge
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field or combination of education and experience.
- APICS / Lean / Six Sigma Certification preferred.
- 4 - 6 years of experience in supply chain, Scheduling and/or Purchasing experience in fast paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills (MS Office – Excel, Outlook, MS Word) & ERP capability.
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
