Position: Product Assembler
Company: Geometris is a Hardware Manufacturer for Automotive Global Positioning System (GPS) based in Houston, Texas.
Pay Rate: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour.
Position Purpose: As a Product Assembler you are expected to responsibly follow work instructions provided for each station in the production facility and maintain the minimum quality of work for QC purposes. You are also expected to keep work stations neat and organized.
Probation period for this position: 90 days
**Extension possible considering employees performance.
Position is responsible for but not limited to:
- Ability to work fast and meet daily goals.
- Carry out assigned assembly line processes actively and diligently.
Processes include:
- Assembling plastic enclosures
- Updating & Testing Devices
- Fastening Parts
- Packaging & Shipping
- Punctual and Serious
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
- Effective communication skills.
- Attention to detail, neat and organized.
- Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US.
- Familiarity with working in a fast-paced production facility.
- Have a willingness to perform other tasks as required.
- Candidates need to be punctual and prepared to work to ensure daily production goals are met.
- Entry level experience.
- Eagerness to learn.
Job Type:
- Full-time.
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm or 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Expected hours: 40 per week
