GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Plant Administrator is responsible for the overall plant administrative functions covering a combination of some or all of the following: office management, payroll, scheduling, time-keeping and/or billing; may serve as lead to plant office staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of office administrative functions, such as preparing reports/documentation, processing mail, answering phones, greeting visitors, and filing.
Process purchase orders for plant supplies.
Maintains and orders supplies for office and kitchen area.
Coordinate events and/or meals, as necessary.
Aids in coordination of plant communications.
May be responsible for updating & maintaining production training records and plant audit dates.
Assist HR Manager with proper documentation for new hires and/or employee transaction forms.
Assist Plant Management with time-keeping and attendance tracking.
Assist Plant Controller with basic accounting functions (3-way matching, vendor price checks, assist in pulling invoices for payment, and other items).
Provides general administrative support to human resources in areas such as personnel files and other HR processes.
May provide lead direction to other staff in the performance of plant administrative responsibilities.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
High School diploma.
Knowledge of and ability to use standard office equipment; including, copier, fax, personal computer, etc..
Requires good interpersonal, verbal, written and telephone/customer service skills.
Must be proficient in the use Microsoft Office software and be able to use e-mail.
QuickBooks experience preferred.
Must have basic math aptitude to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
Required Length & Type of Experience:
Three years of prior office/clerical experience.
