Job Title: UX Designer
Location: Bentonville, AR (Remote)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and provide creative solutions.
Communicate the user experience through various stages of the design process, including wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
Advocate for the prioritization of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements throughout the product development lifecycle.
Contribute to creating and maintaining design systems, ensuring consistency across platforms and projects.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights, iterating on designs to meet user needs and behaviors.
Design across platforms, ensuring consistency and responsiveness across web and mobile applications.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in UX design, with a portfolio that demonstrates your design process and capabilities—particularly in wireframing and prototyping.
Proficiency in Figma: Must be highly adept at using Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and collaborative design.
Strong visual design skills with a solid understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
Problem-solving mindset: Ability to approach design challenges with user-centered solutions and iterate quickly based on feedback.
Attention to detail: Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and functionality requirements.
Experience with Accessibility Standards: Familiarity with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) to create inclusive designs for all users.
Multiple platform experience: Experience designing across web and mobile platforms, ensuring consistency and responsiveness.
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with executive leadership on complex projects.
Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and design limitations for mobile and desktop platforms.
