Job Title: Logistics Dispatcher

Job Responsibilities:
Route Planning:
- Assist in planning and optimizing delivery routes for drivers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Collaborate with drivers and other team members to enhance route efficiency.
- Coordinate and communicate with drivers to assign pickup and delivery tasks.
- Monitor the progress of deliveries and address any issues that may arise during transit.
- Maintain clear and effective communication channels with drivers, clients, and internal teams.
- Provide updates on delivery status and any potential delays.
- Proactively identify and address logistical challenges to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with team members to find solutions to unexpected issues.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, routes, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Work closely with the customer service team to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to transportation regulations and company policies.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed by drivers and address any violations promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in logistics software.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the logistics industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
