Job Title: AutoCAD Manager

Summary/Objective:
GeoPoint is a land surveying company with multiple locations, specializing in land development, remote sensing, geospatial mapping, and commercial surveys.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and maintain AutoCAD Civil 3D standards, including templates, layers, and mobile data collection workflows.
- Design and program automation applications using AutoLISP to streamline AutoCAD processes.
- Create and conduct engaging training sessions, including recorded tutorials, to educate staff on best practices and innovative workflows.
- Lead the integration of AutoLISP, AI, generative design, and mobile technology into AutoCAD Civil 3D workflows to enhance project efficiency.
- Ensure quality control by implementing and maintaining high standards in design practices through advanced technologies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to incorporate evolving business and technological requirements into design workflows.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to drive continuous innovation in design and drafting processes.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and hands-on training to ensure employees develop the necessary skills and knowledge to perform effectively.
- Oversee daily operations, set performance expectations, and foster a productive work environment to achieve team goals.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience: Extensive experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoLISP programming, mobile data collection, and automation workflows.
- Expertise in AutoCAD customization and standardization.
- Strong proficiency in AutoLISP programming and automation development.
- Knowledge of mobile technology integration and generative design processes.
- Excellent teaching and communication skills, with the ability to deliver complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities to drive innovation.
- Strong data analysis and project management capabilities.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
