Your tasks
- The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring the efficient production and delivery of plastic injection molding, extrusion pipe manufacturing, and packaging & assembly products, while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
- Leads and manages the daily operations of plastic injection molding, extrusion pipe manufacturing, and packaging & assembly.
- Ensures production schedules are met through coordination of resources and equipment.
- Monitors production efficiency and implements process improvements to optimize throughput.
- Oversees the maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment.
- Supervises a diverse team of operators, technicians, and assembly workers.
- Provides training and development opportunities to ensure employees are skilled and safety conscious.
- Conducts regular performance evaluations, providing feedback and coaching to enhance individual and team performance.
- Ensures adherence to all quality control standards and regulations in plastic molding, extrusion, and packaging operations.
- Implements and monitors quality assurance processes, inspecting products to guarantee compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Addresses and resolves any quality-related issues promptly.
- Follows and promotes employee adherence to all appropriate Safety, Health and Environmental policies, practices and procedures, including compliance to and adherence of ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18001 certification requirements.
- Conducts regular safety audits and ensures safety training is up to date for all employees.
- Investigates any workplace accidents and implements corrective actions.
- Monitors raw material usage and inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available for production.
- Works with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and minimizes production delays.
- Coordinates with logistics to ensure smooth shipping and receiving operations.
- Leads initiatives to identify process inefficiencies and implements Lean manufacturing practices to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Analyzes operational data and make recommendations for improvements in production workflows, equipment, and staffing.
- Prepares regular operational reports for upper management, including performance metrics, production statistics, and cost analyses.
- Assists in the creation of budgets and manages operational expenses to ensure profitability.
- Other duties as assigned.
