Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical components, reading blueprints, and ensuring that all products meet quality and safety standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble mechanical components and systems according to specifications, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools (provided by the employee), power tools, and measuring instruments to complete assembly tasks.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Perform troubleshooting and minor adjustments to ensure proper functionality.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Document assembly processes and report any issues or discrepancies.
Qualifications & Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus).
• Experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to lift and move moderate weights and work in a standing position for extended periods.
