As an electrical installer you will assist lead technicians and be responsible for the following:
- Installing electrical panels, circuit breakers, and fixtures
- Running conduit and bending pipes
- Connecting wires and devices properly
- Repairing or replacing damaged wiring, fixtures, and components
- Troubleshooting electrical issues and identifying malfunctions
Skills
- Reading and interpreting electrical manuals and schematics
- Understanding and adhering to local electrical codes and safety regulations
- Proficient use of hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work
Required qualifications
- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent training
- 1 year or more residential experience
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and safety practices
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or a team
- Ability to work in confined areas like crawl spaces or attics
- GED or high school diploma
- A clean driving record
- Pass a background check
