Assistant Store Manager
The DeLallo Italian Marketplace has been a destination for excellent customer service and outstanding Italian specialties, bakery, deli, and prepared foods for 75 years. The management of our store and staff is paramount to our continued success. The role of the management team is to teach, manage, and participate in all store functions to create excellent and consistent experiences for loyal and new customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform all management tasks for the opening, operation and closing of the store daily.
- Manage employees in each department to ensure proper customer service, efficiency and consistency of jobs and effectiveness of labor hours.
- Train and mentor employees in all departments for their jobs.
- Participate in all jobs needed throughout the store as needed.
- Perform all financial functions for the balancing of daily business transactions.
- Order and receive inventory.
- Create, analyze, and act on reporting to effect sales and operation of the store.
- Create and teach merchandising, product, and sales actions to increase revenue and enhance customer experience.

We operate three olive and antipasto production facilities in Mount Pleasant, Penn, PA, and Oroville, CA. In addition, we own and operate our very own olive orchard in Oroville, CA, as well as an industrial bakery in Bridgeville, PA.
