The ideal candidate will bring strong welding expertise and dedication to precision, supporting the fabrication and assembly needs of our Fabrication Shop. This role focuses on welding and fabrication responsibilities

This position is bound primarily to the fabrication shop at the Indianapolis location with occasional travel to customer locations during normal business hours. A clean driving record is required. This role comes with a competitive compensation plan and as well as excellent benefits.

Fabrication Welder Responsibilities:

  • Perform proficient MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on a variety of materials, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
  • Proficient in structural frame, process pipe and tubing welding.
  • Interpret and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
  • Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and fitting components.
  • Ensure proper alignment and fit of fabricated components prior to welding.
  • Execute high-quality welds with attention to precision and aesthetic finish.
  • Assemble fabricated components according to project specifications.
  • Operate machinery and use equipment to shape, finish, and fabricate parts.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure welds meet quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain and clean fabrication tools and equipment.

Requirements For The Fabrication Welder

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical school or continued education is a plus.
  • Certifications in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) are preferred but not required.
  • Proven proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, with the ability to adapt techniques for different materials and project requirements.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as business needs arise.
  • Attention to detail, organization skills and ability to work independently or with a team.
  • Must be willing to travel locally and have a clean driving record.
  • All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
