Job Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To :
- Updating a syllabus and Canvas course site (all classes have an approved textbook, established learning outcomes, and pre-built learning modules).
- Preparing thoroughly for each instructional week.
- Instructing and guiding students in an efficient and effective manner.
- Maintaining accurate records of student work and attendance.
- Maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Grading and returning student work within one week of submission.
- Counseling students as needed on their performance and progress in the course.
- Using the Canvas learning management system for all course work.
- Remaining up-to-date on technology and methods of teaching with technology.
- Staying informed about changes and innovations in your field.
- Adhering to GFD and GFU academic policies.
- Communicating effectively and courteously with others, including employees, students, and the public, in a spirit of teamwork, respect and customer service.
- By actions, words, and lifestyle, functioning as a Christian role model to students, whether through casual contact or in a formal supervisory role.
- Demonstrated experience working cross culturally with respect, appreciation and humility.
- Other duties as assigned.
