George Fox University announces a part-time, adjunct instructor position in the College of Business, to begin in August 2025. This position is teaching the topic of Strategic Management. This course is scheduled to run one section in the Fall 2025 Semester on Tuesday and Thursday from 12 : 00 pm to 1 : 15pm and two sections in the Spring 2026 Semester on Tuesday and Thursday from 9 : 25am - 10 : 40am and 12 : 00 pm to 1 : 15pm. These times could be adjusted.

Adjunct faculty play a crucial role in delivering high-quality instruction while fostering student engagement in a supportive Christian learning environment. Teaching opportunities may be available in undergraduate and graduate programs and vary by department and semester.

Job Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To :

• Teaching the undergraduate capstone course in Strategic Management (1 section in the fall, 2 sections in the spring).
• Instructing students on core business strategy concepts, major theories, and influential scholars in the field.
• Facilitating real-world application projects, integrating practical business challenges into the course.
• Teaching courses in alignment with the university's mission and learning objectives.
• Developing and implementing effective instructional strategies that promote student engagement.
• Providing timely and constructive feedback on student work.
• Maintaining accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.
• Utilizing the university's learning management system (Canvas) for course management.
• Maintaining professionalism and adhering to university policies.
• Communicating effectively and courteously with others, including employees, students, and the public, in a spirit of teamwork, respect and customer service.
• By actions, words, and lifestyle, be a Christian role model to students, whether through casual contact or in a formal supervisory role.
• Demonstrated experience working cross culturally with respect, appreciation and humility.
• Other duties as assigned.
