What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector Technician position at George Industries?
We are looking to add a Quality Inspector to our team, here is who we are looking for: You are methodical in your work; using care to complete complex tasks without distraction. You are good at managing your own workload and when you see something that needs to get done, you step up without direction. Knowledge in these areas are essential for success in this job:
· General knowledge of manufacturing, quality, industrial, and mechanical processes
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings and specifications
· Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles
· Previous experience using hand measurement tools: calipers, micrometers, height stands, etc.
· Understanding of basic geometry and high school level math
· Seeks opportunities for continuous improvement

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Must be able to move up to 20 pounds frequently
· Must be able to remain stationary for several hours
Shift is 12:00pm - 8:30pm
Pay DOE $21 - $26/hr
