What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production - Candy Packer position at George J. Howe Company?
The George J. Howe Company (Grove City, PA) is seeking several full-time (40 hours per week) packaging line team members. The starting wage is $13.50 per hour. Candidates would be employed through a local staffing agency. These positions may lead to employment directly with the Howe Company based on the individual's performance and the company's on-going production requirements (usually at the 90 day mark). Employees will also be eligible to receive a biweekly attendance bonus at a rate of an extra $1/hour for perfect attendance.
Hours for packaging line are Monday - Thursday 5am - 3:30pm.
The Howe Company is a full-line candy and nut distributor, as well as a purveyor of food service and gourmet coffees. “Here’s Howe” products are currently sold in hundreds of grocery stores and retail chains east of the Mississippi. Howe’s experienced staff of sales representatives and distributors personally service 90 percent of the company’s accounts.
