Accounts Payable Coordinator
Reports to: Controller, Accounts Payable Manager
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week, with some flexibility on specific days/hours
Job Location: 3500 Alum Creek Drive, Columbus, OH 43207. This position is primarily in person with remote capabilities.
This position is eligible for Company benefits.
General Overview:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator will provide support to the Finance Team by assisting the Accounts Payable Manager. This person should demonstrate Integrity, Gratitude, Excellence, and Leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Assists Accounts Payable Manager with:
- Processing incoming Accounts Payable mail and email
- Obtaining proper invoice approvals
- Processing weekly check runs
- Reconciling vendor statements
- Handling Vendor Inquiries
- Ensuring vendor files and tax documents are current
- Processing Truck Tickets
- Maintaining and regularly updating department SOPs
- Maintains Supplier and Subcontractor Lien Waivers
- Collects and files Subcontractor I-29s
- Knows and adheres to all Company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Experience with Accounts Payable functions required
- Experience with accounting software, Sage preferred
- Familiarity with Ohio Sales & Use Tax laws, and the Construction Industry preferred
- Must be comfortable working in a paperless environment and be proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Must be trustworthy and comfortable working with confidential information within a privately held company
- Must have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy while processing large amounts of data
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally, ability to form effective working relationships with others
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening. (George J. Igel & Co., Inc. is a BWC Drug-Free Workplace and tests for marijuana)
- Must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement upon hire
- Must have access to reliable transportation
