Established in 1909, George Junior Republic and its affiliates provide opportunities for success and wellness to the individuals, families, and communities served.
Summary of the Position: The Case Manager coordinates care with placing agencies, courts and family members for an assigned caseload of 27-32 youth residing in the Special Needs, Intensive Supervision, Drug and Alcohol, Open Campus, and/or RTF treatment programs at George Junior Republic in order to effect successful discharge of the youth. Services provided include family and agency contact, court representation, home visit coordination, documentation of all activities and report preparation. The Case Manager is a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team. The Case Manager works closely with the assigned residents’ Therapist or Treatment Team Coordinator and Residential Manager in order to maintain comprehensive case collaboration.

Working Conditions | |
Lifting Requirements | Must be able to perform safety procedures as needed. Procedures may require lifting. |
Physical Requirements | Must pass physical and be able to physically restrain youth when necessary. |
Work Location: This position is required to work at various locations, both inside and outside and across campus to include long distance travel. |
REQUIREMENTS | |
Education | Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field |
Licensure | N/A |
Years of Experience | One year in a Human Services field |
Computer Experience | Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications |
Other | Excellent writing skills, excellent communication skills, knowledge of the court process, ability to present cases comprehensively in court |
