Summary of the position: This position is responsible for the supervision and management of community-based workers and programs. Must be an LCSW, LMFT or LMHC. This position is responsible for working at multiple locations across the state of Indiana, including Marion, Logansport, Lafayette, and multiple North Central Counties. Candidate must be willing to travel to the assigned locations, and is able to work from a home office when not traveling.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports collecting data on clients/staff as required by service standards as necessary for program development and fidelity working in conjunction with Clinical Director, Compliance Technician and others. Data includes but is not limited to ensuring client contact and intake are within approved timelines, accurate completion of assessment tools, completions of monthly compliance, accurate and complete records of employee timesheets including billable/non-billable activities, monitoring clinical model fidelity, review and approve data submitted in monthly progress reports, treatment plans, safety plans, emails, visitation logs, and other documents to referring agencies.
- Complete the file audit tool to ensure staff are keeping client records appropriately.
- Actively work to ensure staff and client safety are the top priority. Intervene in high liability/risk situations to mitigate and work towards safety. Request additional direction from HR/Administrators to ensure staff and client safety. Provide ongoing training to staff to do no harm to clients while in a variety of at-risk situations.
- Supervise staff as assigned in a thorough, professional manner in full compliance with established Indiana State Service Standards, GJR policies and procedures.
- Provide on-the-job training for new staff and ongoing training to current staff.
- Formally evaluate all assigned GJR staff annually.
- Supervision must be culturally competent, value neutral, and best practice according to the models being implemented.
- Monthly supervision must include a variety of modalities including but not limited to individual, face-to-face, group, direct observation, teleconference, and phone and be documented in Case Management Pro system to show staff issues, action steps, client care, and feedback provided through supervision.
- Ensure that all referrals are processed promptly, monitor waiting list.
- Monitor that each staff works and records the minimum number of billable hours on average each month. For part time staff, monitor ratio of direct versus indirect hours remains in minimum 60/40 split.
- Maintain the minimum number of staff required for the position or provide therapy to clients to supplement staff quotas.
- Review staff billable/direct and non-billable/indirect time utilizing the established database while ensuring an accurate timesheet is maintained and staff have up-to-date case notes that maintained in Case Management Pro (electronic database), VPN client files and Kid Traks (if applicable).
- Monitor staff work and make certain it is in compliance with Service Standards published by the Indiana Department of Child Services for the services that they are providing
- Ensure finance ledgers, receipts, forms, etc. are mailed to GJR in a timely manner.
- Monitor staff capacity and shift duties/cases as necessary to best care for staff and clients.
Requirements:
- Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
- Must have a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or directly-related human services field from an accredited university/college with a license.
