We are a tele-psychiatry practice serving adults and children who live in Hawaii. We are looking for candidates and the outer islands of Hawaii. The Aloha Spirit is part of every interaction we have with our clients and among each other. Working with us, you will be appreciated every day for your part to help people in Hawaii access psychiatric care via telehealth.

Work from home / hybrid for a well-respected and growing tele-psychiatry practice, 9 : 00AM HST -6PM HST , Mon-Fri.

Seeking full-time, remote Mental Health Receptionist / Medical Assistant in Hawaii for a growing tele-psychiatry practice.

Our ideal candidate will :

  • Work independently in your home office or possibly our office while staying connected with staff through Microsoft Teams.
  • Enjoy helping patients, case managers, pharmacies, and referral sources over phone and video.
  • Multi-task on the computer while answering phones, scheduling patients, and checking-in patients for their video appointments.
  • Be highly organized and detail oriented to work in excel spreadsheets, make electronic charts, and keep information updated in our electronic medical record.
  • Respond to requests for records and fax them electronically while following HIPAA guidelines.
  • Have excellent written communication skills for letters and emails.
  • Have experience with Microsoft 365 Pro.

Additional experience valued :

  • Experience working in a medical office.
  • Experience working in an electronic medical record.
  • Experience with scheduling appointments.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working in the mental health field.
  • Familiarity with psychiatric medications.

    • Salary will be based on experience.
