Referral Coordinator at OhanaPsych

We are a tele-psychiatry practice serving adults and children who live in Hawaii. We are looking for candidates on the outer islands of Maui or Kauai. The Aloha Spirit is part of every interaction we have with our clients and among each other. Work from home/hybrid for a well-respected and growing tele-psychiatry practice, 9:00AM HST -6PM HST , Mon-Fri.

Seeking full-time, Medical Assistant in Hawaii for a growing tele-psychiatry practice.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Work independently while staying connected with staff through Microsoft Teams.
• Enjoy helping patients, case managers, pharmacies, and referral sources over phone and video.
• Multi-task on the computer while answering phones, scheduling patients, and checking-in patients for their video or office appointments.
• Be highly organized and detail oriented to work in excel spreadsheets, make electronic charts, and keep information updated in our electronic medical record.
• Respond to requests for records and fax them electronically while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Have excellent written communication skills for letters and emails.
• Have experience with Microsoft 365 Pro.

• Experience working in a medical office.
• Experience working in an electronic medical record.
• Experience with scheduling appointments.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working in the mental health field.
• Familiarity with psychiatric medications.

Salary will be based on experience.
