PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Parts Driver drives the company parts truck for the purpose of pickup and delivery.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide customer satisfaction and represent the dealership in a professional manner.
- Provide safe, fast and efficient deliveries and pick ups for wholesale customers.
- Sweep the floors and empty the trash on a regular basis in the Parts Department.
- Keep warranty parts tub empty.
- Assist the Parts Manager in checking in parts and restocking the merchandize.
- Responsible for collecting monies with accuracy and turning in all money and paperwork from wholesale customers to the cashier.
- Corresponds with Title Administrator in organizing bank and tag agency deliveries.
- Make sure the parts truck is safe and clean at all times.
- Match part numbers on all counter tickets to parts for wholesale delivery. (VERY IMPORTANT)
- Match all part numbers to invoices from other vendors when you pick up parts.
- Keep personal phone time limited to breaks and lunch hours
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have a valid Florida driver license with under 3 points.
- Have good number skills
- Be an effective communicator
- Have good people skills
- Have a sense of urgency in following directions and meet deadlines
- Be a team player
- Must be able to pass a Background and MVR check

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The Parts Driver will normally work from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. S/he must be able to adjust to a variable fast or slow environment. S/he must be able to bend, stoop, and lift within the parameters of the responsibility of the job. You will work closely with the Parts Counterpersons.
