Project Engineer
We are seeking a Project Engineer to add to our team. The ideal candidate will assist with the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing and managing the activities to ensure project accuracy and quality.
Responsibilities
- Working alongside Project Managers to ensure project quality.
- Preparing subcontractor agreements.
- Scheduling of subcontractors on each jobsite.
- Managing and ordering all required materials for each job.
- Handling purchase orders and invoices for materials ordered (including subcontractors)
and coding them accordingly.
- SWPPP inspections to ensure proper principles and practices of erosion control were
utilized.
- Managing the trucking assignments for any needed stone and other materials.
- Clear and concise communication with project manager, owners and other project
participants.
Engineering Intern Requirements and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 4 or more years field and project planning experience.
- Excellent computer literacy and knowledge.
- Excellent organizational skills, time management, and supervision skills.
- Ability to multitask for each respective site.
- Valid engineering license is a PLUS!
- Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards and best practices.
- Road and site design experience/knowledge
- Blueprint reading
