Our Opportunity
GPJ is hiring a Warehouse Lead to join our growing team!
This role is on-site, requiring you to report to our Smyrna, TN office location a minimum of 5 days per week.
Your Role
As a Warehouse Lead, you are responsible for the daily operation of a team of Warehouse Specialists. You will lead and manage the Warehouse Specialists on all assigned jobs.
You set the working hours required for the warehouse staff assigned to you with oversight from the Warehouse Manager in order to accomplish the workload requested. You will also organize assigned client lot regarding warehouse layout and storage needs with regards to racking and efficient utilization of limited space.
You will manage job timelines and deadlines. This includes: identifying potential difficulties in upcoming production tasks and dictating goals that are achievable by your team. You will communicate upstream and downstream to all relevant stakeholders regarding department workload and changes as necessary.
Other responsibilities will include department time tracking, file organization/storage, training, continual learning/research for skill improvement, and additional tasks directed by the Warehouse Manager.
Your Skills
- An ability to communicate clearly in a timely fashion verbally and through written text.
- General competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet or other Project Management/productivity software.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. without assistance.

Your Experience
Experience & Education
- High school diploma and (3) years of industry related experience.
- Significant experience or knowledge of the exhibit industry, specifically regarding warehouse setup, staffing and management is a plus
Travel & Mobility
- Ability to travel 10%
