Job Description Job Description Job Description : We are looking for an energetic, self-driven, quality assurance associate to become part of our Quality team. This hands-on position will be responsible for day-to-day production inspections, as well as being an integral part of continuous improvement and assuring quality standards are maintained in-line with ISO 9001 guidelines.This job is located in Guilford, CT.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to)
- Real-time inspection of products, processes and systems.
- Review / Approval of process paperwork for critical customer / production processes.
- Aid in administration and execution of facility quality programs, (i.e., Training, Corrective Action, Continuous Improvement, Lean, Non-Conformance, etc.).
- Daily auditing of departmental processes and paperwork according to QA procedures..
- Create reports / analysis as necessary / required.
- Perform tasks in accordance to all GSC safety rules and regulations...
- Performs tasks in accordance to GSC handbook and written procedures.
- Other duties as needed and assigned by management.III. QUALIFICATIONS
- H.S. Diploma
- 3-5 yrs quality department experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to interpret and implement customer specifications / requirements
- Excellent visual acuity and color discrimination.
- Ability to work independently
- Computer literate (spreadsheets, word processing, etc.); experience with SPCtools / software helpful
- Good verbal and written communication skills
