You will play a pivotal role in driving business success through the management of a targeted customer portfolio, pricing strategies, and comprehensive sales initiatives.
Location - California, US (Remote)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic account management by fostering collaboration within a global account team. - Build and nurture relationships across multiple functions and levels within customer organizations, focusing on strategic partnerships and shared growth.
- Analyze customer business strategies and market positioning to identify innovative product opportunities that contribute to a thriving business pipeline.
- Engage with key departments such as R&D, Marketing, and Supply Chain to gain a deeper understanding of customer needs and value drivers.
- Leverage our competitive advantages in product performance and supply chain management to deliver exceptional consumer benefits.
- Serve as the VoC sharing insights on their needs and innovation opportunities while facilitating project execution with cross-functional partners.
- Develop and implement compelling value propositions utilizing “insights selling” practices to resonate with customer desires.
- Negotiate favorable terms that support growth, safeguard margins, and mitigate risk while maintaining strong, trust-based customer relationships.
- Oversee account planning, pre-call preparation, needs assessments, value selling, pipeline management, and effective use of Salesforce.com CRM.
What will make you stand out:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of direct sales or key account management experience in rigid plastic or packaging
- Ability to adapt and embrace new sales techniques and marketing strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with a passion for exceeding sales growth targets.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
