The George Washington Leadership Institute designs, facilitates, and executes premier leadership programs that blend historical perspectives with contemporary leadership challenges. Using George Washington's leadership principles as a foundation, we develop essential leadership competencies relevant to today's environment. Based at the George Washington Presidential Library, our programs serve distinguished clients from corporate, association, university, government, and military sectors. The Manager of Leadership Programs serves on the Leadership department team to support and execute these programs. The position reports to the Director of The George Washington Leadership Institute. Primary initiatives include day-to-day administration of all program logistics, including serving as the primary contact with Special Events and Food Services.

40-50 hours/week depending on programming, hours are flexible
Essential Duties:
Essential Duties:
- As directed, manage logistics for the various client-based leadership programs.
- Serve as point of contact for all leadership program logistics and serve as primary point of contact with the Special Events and Food Services departments to ensure that they have fulfilled all client requirements.
- Work collaboratively with other programmatic departments to share facility resources.
- Execute program activities, providing real-time support to ensure smooth and impactful delivery
- Manage client communications, respond promptly to inquiries, and deliver outstanding service throughout the client journey
- Develop and maintain compelling LinkedIn content to promote programs and foster participant engagement
- Create and maintain professional program documentation, marketing materials, and client communications
- Ensure meticulous attention to detail throughout all program phases
- Oversee program evaluation processes and implement continuous improvements
- Apply administrative and financial policies and practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in events and coordination
- Excellence in written and verbal communication, including editing and client engagement
- Demonstrated success with LinkedIn marketing and content creation for professional audiences
- Exceptional attention to detail with an unwavering commitment to quality
- Strong organizational abilities; capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing effectively
- Polished interpersonal skills for engaging with speakers, clients, contractors, and Mount Vernon colleagues
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Flexibility to accommodate occasional non-traditional hours
