SUMMARY: The Director of Veterinarian Services is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and overseeing operations of a fully-functional veterinary facility providing routine, preventative, and urgent veterinary care.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Examine animals to detect and determine the nature of diseases or injuries.
- Treat sick or injured animals.
- Collect body tissue, feces, blood, urine, or other body fluids for examination and analysis.
- Inoculate animals against various diseases.
- Maintain relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Required
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
- 5 years of veterinary experience
