What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grain Elevator Coordinator position at Georges Inc?
SUMMARY: The Grain Elevator Coordinator is responsible for managing the timely and accurate completion of tasks for the company feed grain testing program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Test commodities including corn and soybeans.
- Tests include non-GMO, aflatoxin, fumonisin, test weight, moisture, FM, Damage, and splits.
- Inventory and order all needed testing supplies.
- Assist in training new team members.
- Enter ticket information accurately & timely in a fast pace environment.
- Diagnose mechanical failure of testing equipment.
- Clean and maintain all testing equipment.
- Audit and resolve all task discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by manager.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in an office or administrative environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
· Previous feed grain, or agricultural experience preferred.
