Forklift Operator (1st Shift)
The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with every third Saturday required.
We are seeking a Forklift Operator for our 1st shift in the Dock Area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.

Arrange products on pallets according to customer order specifications.

Efficiently stage the dock area on a daily basis to ensure smooth operations.

Inspect pallets to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.

Prepare pallets of finished products for shipment.
SUMMARY: The purpose of a Forklift Operator is to move pallets of meat throughout the plant, shipping and/or warehouse.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Responsible for reading customer’s orders.
- Inspect trailers for cleanliness and pest control and document results on the load accountability form.
- Prepare the orders and load them onto the correct trailer using a Forklift.
- Wand/scan product correctly.
- Keep loading dock clean.
- Employee is also responsible for using proper technique and any other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
