Visiting Assistant Professor, Department of Kinesiology and Health Studies
The department of Kinesiology and Health Studies at Georgetown College welcomes applications for a full-time position beginning August 2025. The ideal candidate would have background in exercise science/physiology. The successful candidate will teach a 4/4 load per academic year.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: delivering quality instruction for undergraduate courses; participating in departmental and institutional training and events; supporting the college’s Christian mission; and providing service to the college, profession and community.
Courses may include but may not be limited to: Exercise physiology, biomechanics, senior seminar, measurement and evaluation of kinesiology, human physiology, and foundations of kinesiology.
Georgetown College is a private, Christian, liberal arts institution and emphasis is placed on teaching excellence in a diverse context. It is located in the small college town of Georgetown, Kentucky, just 12 miles north of Lexington.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Required: Master’s degree in Kinesiology, exercise science, or related field.
Preferred: Doctorate in Kinesiology, exercise physiology or related field.
