Job Summary: To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the school office in order to maximize the office’s positive impact on the education of children.

Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Two years college or technical school preferred
- Typing and computer skills
- Must be able to work well with students, teachers and public
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as District Administration may find appropriate and acceptable
- Welcomes visitors and assist with signing in to create a pleasant and comfortable school environment
- Assists visitor with directions and information
- Maintain school sign-in system
- Greets and assists parents and visitors entering the school
- Performs usual office routines associated with a busy yet productive and smoothly run office
- Receives and routes incoming calls
- Distributes flyers, brochures, and other forms of communication to teachers and students
- Distributes mail to faculty and staff
- Composes and types memos, emails, and announcements
- Create schedule for school day events (Picture Day, Assemblies, and School Programs)
- Make copies and distribute to teachers and students
- Prepare and maintain correspondence
- Monitors and maintain copy machine and poster maker. Works on repairing jams, adding and ink and toner, and keeping paper available. Call service representative when necessary
- Makes announcements on school P. A. System
- Maintains service log for School Resource Officers
- Contact Emergency Response Team as needed and responds to emergencies
- Orders, stores, and issues supplies for faculty and staff
- Calls students to the front office and ensure students return to class safely
- Prepare work orders
- Creates and maintain front office bulletin board
- Assist with bus dismissal over the P.A. system
- Knowledgeable about technology and minor technology troubleshooting
- The supervisor may assign additional duties
