Essential Functions Facilitates communications among caregivers, patients and visitors to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information. Performs all clerical / computer functions to support patient care delivery. Coordinates daily patient flow activities. Stocks unit with office and medical supplies and prepares requisitions to maintain inventory levels. Answers the telephone in a professional manner and directs calls or takes messages. Faxes and photocopies information as requested by staff.
Qualifications
Job Requirements Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred. Associate’s degree Preferred Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
