ThinkingStorm is an educational company that works with a wide range of technical colleges, community colleges, and 4 year university partners to provide customized online tutoring and academic support services to their students across the United States.
The Position
The company is seeking a part-time Customer Support Specialist who can contribute to a variety tasks, including:
End-User Support and Account Maintenance
End-User and Client Relations
Technology Testing and Documentation
Other Miscellaneous Tasks
There is also potential for picking up tutoring hours yourself if you have subject competency in relevant college courses and subjects
As an online tutoring provider for a variety of schools across the country, responsive and empathetic end-user support is essential to client satisfaction. ThinkingStorm receives high marks for the level of end-user support it delivers to a diverse and remote audience of students.
Our ideal applicant will possess strong communication skills (phone and email), technological
aptitude, and a positive attitude. This is a remote position. A modern computer and reliable high-speed internet connection are required. Preference will be given to applicants who have prior experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software, education technology, and/or customer support.
Time Commitment: Estimated 10-20 hours per week on weekday afternoons and/or weekends depending on availability
Compensation: $18-20/hour, based on qualifications and experience
