What are the responsibilities and job description for the Station Master - Guest Service position at Georgetown Loop Railroad?
Station Masters provide assistance to our guests at both of our depots. This position is responsible for keeping the Depots and property clean and presentable for our guests at all times. They coordinate operations with the train crews. Candidate needs to be organized and able to set priorities. An out going and friendly personality is essential to this position. Candidate must be in good physical condition and be able to lift at least 50 pounds. This is a seasonal position, our season runs from April to January. Additional hours are available assisting the Facilities Manager with improvement projects. We are Federally regulated so we drug test and do background checks on all candidates prior to hiring. All candidates must live within 50 miles of Georgetown, Colorado, we do pay a travel subsidy in addition to regular pay for qualifying employees. Hospitality and Food/Beverage experience a plus.
