Description
- Follow recipes for smoothies and juices
- Operate juicers and blenders
- Prep produce for future use
- Build custom and standard fresh sandwiches & bowls
- Serve food from counter
- Keep food preparation area stock levels full and organized
- Receive orders of product and stock in proper area in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean work area in accordance with health department
- Greet and interact with customers in a polite manner
- Operate a point of sale system, taking orders from customers
- Maintain composure during busy hours
- Handle knives and equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Pay includes daily cash tips
- Spanish speakers encouraged!
- Friendly, Team players encouraged!
Requirements
- 2 – 3 years in restaurant, customer service, or hospitality.
- Must have knowledge of basic cooking techniques and equipment.
- Must have a desire to continually learn about changing food trends and food culture.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be professional, energetic, a team player, self-motivated, and able to motivate others.
- Must possess strong safety awareness.
- Communicate and interact effectively and appropriately with all customers, co-workers and management.
- Ability to trouble-shoot problems and present solutions for a variety of situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
