We are seeking a skilled and motivated Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for overseeing and managing the preventative maintenance programs for commercial kitchen and HVAC / R equipment. This role ensures the proper scheduling, execution, and documentation of routine maintenance services to maximize equipment uptime, reduce emergency repairs, and extend the lifespan of critical appliances. The Preventative Maintenance Manager will lead a team of technicians and work closely with customers to provide top-tier service and maintain long-term relationships

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES :
Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, refrigerators, dish machines, ice machines, walk in coolers, walk in freezers, low boy coolers, low boy freezers, and HVAC equipmentSchedule and oversee maintenance visits, ensuring all services are completed efficiently and according to manufacturer recommendationsTrain, supervise, and evaluate preventative maintenance technicians, ensuring they adhere to safety and service standardsMonitor and analyze maintenance data to identify trends, prevent breakdowns, and improve service offeringsMaintain relationships with key clients, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.Work collaboratively with the repair team to ensure smooth transition from preventative maintenance to necessary repairsEnsure compliance with industry regulations, health codes, and company policiesMaintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, completed work, and parts inventoryPrepare reports and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectivenessStay up to date with industry advancements and emerging technologies to enhance service qualityEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
Education : High school diploma or GED required. Technical or vocational training in appliance repair, HVAC, or a related field is preferredExperience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment maintenance, repair, or facilities management.Certifications : HVAC, CFESA, EPA, or other relevant certifications preferred.Skills :Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot commercial kitchen equipment issues.Strong communication and customer service skills.Proficiency in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Valdi driver's license with a clean driving record as outlined with our company policyMust be able to pass a satisfactory background screeningPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
