Associate Pastor of Family Ministries (NextGen)

Antioch Baptist Church (Blairsville), nestled in the scenic North Georgia mountains, is seeking a dedicated and visionary Associate Pastor of Family Ministries (NextGen Pastor). The ideal candidate will thrive in a laid-back community while serving as a self-starter who leverages their spiritual gifts to build Christ-centered ministries.

Key Responsibilities

Youth Ministry: Lead and expand upon an established student ministry (25-30 students), collaborating with a committed team of volunteer leaders and an engaged church family.

Children’s Ministry: Strengthen and organize a team of volunteers, providing leadership and direction to grow the ministry’s impact in the community.

Partner with the ministry team to creatively and effectively reach the next generation with the Gospel.

Creator of a Discipleship Culture: Create a clear discipleship process that starts at birth and continues during the transition to college and young adult ministry.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in ministry leadership, with a history of creativity and success.
• Passion for reaching youth and children with the Gospel.
• Strong organizational, team-building, and communication skills.
• Either a graduate from an accredited SBC seminary, or a current seminarian
• Willing to discuss the opportunity with qualified/experienced college graduate who possesses experience in this area of ministry
• Salary is based on experience and education
• Must be able to pass a national background check
